“When you’re surrounded by people who share a passionate commitment around a common purpose, anything is possible.” – Howard Schultz, Founder and Former CEO of Starbucks I was recently asked to talk at the wonderful Marketing Meetup in Cambridge, organised by charming and inspiring Joe Glover, about how to build an online community. This was as a direct result of the growing Freelance Heroes Facebook group which has over 3200+ members in the 2 years since it was started. Annie Browne and I describe the group as “the voice of UK Freelancers!” As well as “A community of freelancers from across the UK; supporting and encouraging one another, skill sharing and representing their freelance network UK wide” As one twitter user wrote… @teamIPSE If it wasn’t for #FreelanceHeroes my business wouldn’t be going strong today.
